Christian Menefee clinches Texas CD‑18 seat in runoff election

Democrat Christian D. Menefee has won the CD‑18 runoff election, defeating fellow party member Amanda Edwards. After being sworn in on Monday, he takes the seat previously held by the late Rep. Sylvester Turner.
