Arlington Charities prepares for double the demand after the passing of Trump bill

The Trump Administration’s “Big Beautiful Bill” that was signed over the Fourth of July, gives more tax cuts for billionaires while slashing federal funding to programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security, etc.

Casey McCollum, Program Director at Arlington Charities Inc., explained what these cuts can mean for social services like his and the people they serve.

“It’s not just homeless people that you tend to think of as hungry people. It’s everybody.”
