Dallas Farmers Market

If you go to one farmers market in Texas this season, make it the Dallas Farmers Market. Hosted at The Shed, an open-air pavilion in Downtown Dallas, this market runs year-round and only features products grown or raised in Texas or within 400 miles of Dallas.
There’s a great mix of seasonal produce, naturally raised meat, cheese, eggs, and honey, as well as artisan breads, pantry staples, and arts and crafts. If you get hungry while shopping, head to the food hall, where you’ll find four anchor restaurants, indoor and outdoor seating, and even more artisanal food vendors.
The Dallas Farmers Market, founded in 1941, also boasts stunning skyline views, live music, and chef demonstrations.
The Dallas Farmers Market is open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
McKinney Farmers Market

McKinney Farmers Market was named the top farmers market in the Southwest in the 2023 America’s Farmers Market Celebration, so you know it’s worth checking out. This year-round, open-air market hosts about 75 vendors every Saturday. Available products are “homegrown, harvested, and homemade” and include produce, fresh juice, pottery, bread, and jam (see the full list of vendors and their offerings here).
April through December, McKinney Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. to noon, and the rest of the year, it’s opens at 9 a.m.
Coppell Farmers Market

Consider Coppell Farmers Market your one-stop shop for groceries and other edible goodies. This is a food-focused market (though it does sell a small selection of non-food products) and features items from more than 55 vendors. You’ll find all the traditional market fare, such as fresh produce, meat, and cheese, as well as tasty treats like empanadas, popsicles, kimchi, and specialty pizza.

Good Local Markets

As the name implies, Good Local Markets actually hosts two separate farmers markets. White Rock Farmers Market takes place on Saturday (March through December), while Lakewood Village Farmers Market is held on Sunday (February through July). Both are producer-only markets, and all the vendors must be located within 150 miles of Dallas.
There’s lots of local produce, meat, and cheese, as well as bread and pastries, pickles, jams, and other specialty foods. On top of the edible items, you’ll find handmade furniture, toys, clothing, soap, and more.
Friday Night Market

Looking for a fun way to kick off your weekend? Head to the Friday Night Market in downtown Celina. This outdoor market takes place on the first Friday of the month from 6-9 p.m. and features more than 60 vendors. Shop for seasonal produce, free-range meats, pastries, and handcrafted items while you enjoy live music and delicious eats from various local food trucks.
Farmers Market of Grapevine

Prefer an indoor market? Check out the Farmers Market of Grapevine, where quality is the priority. “If we wouldn’t feed it to our kids, you won’t find it in our market,” market organizers write on their website.
