The Dallas-Fort Worth area is celebrating Pride 2025 in big ways. Check out these nine events from May to October that will show you that you belong.
Pride is a celebration, but it’s so much more than that. When we celebrate the Pride movement, we uplift the countless generations of LGBTQ+ individuals who didn’t get to live as openly as we do now, but we also protest and demand rights and protections that we all deserve. The Pride movement has come a long way, but the fight isn’t over, especially during times of political unrest like we’re experiencing right now.
One of the saddest aspects of Pride is that not everyone who wants to celebrate it can. Some people may have a fear of being outed, and others might not feel safe showing up to Pride events given the hateful rhetoric that’s been spewed about the queer and trans communities by the sitting president’s administration. However, for those who do want to use their voices and be as visible as possible during this time—nonetheless in a historically red state—there are many 2025 Pride events to hit up this June and beyond.
1. Mesquite PRIDE Family Festival
Address: 1107 New Market Rd., Mesquite, TX 75149
Date: May 31
Time: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Fee: Free
Located just east of Dallas, Mesquite is an ultra-charming suburb that’s celebrating Pride Month early this year. The third-annual Mesquite PRIDE Family Festival will be held at Paschall Park on Saturday, May 31, and will feature plenty to do. Bouncy castles will provide fun for the kids, a live DJ will bring the good vibes, and food trucks will have all the sustenance you need to fuel your celebration. Plus, with more than 50 vendors attending the event, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to support businesses owned by LGBTQ+ individuals. You might just find your next favorite piece of home decor or article of clothing!
This festival is only in its third year, so showing up and supporting it—it’s free!—is of the utmost importance if it’s going to continue in future years and empower future generations of queer and trans folks. What better way is there to celebrate Pride 2025?
2. 2025 McKinney Pride Fair and Festival
Address: 300 W Louisiana St, McKinney, TX 75069
Date: June 1
Time: 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
Fee: Free
Looking for Pride Month events two days in a row? After celebrating in Mesquite on May 31, head just north of Dallas to the suburb of McKinney on Sunday, June 1. At Dr. Glenn Mitchell Memorial Park, the 2025 McKinney Pride Fair and Festival will be starting Pride Month with a bang in the form of a free event that’s open to everyone, including families and pets.
This event will have loads to do, including face painting for the younguns (or adults—we don’t judge), live music to sway to, live performances by drag artists Paris Nicole Davenport and JT Davenport, and more. Like other Pride events, the 2025 McKinney Pride Fair and Festival will have many different vendors to check out, ranging from crafters to wellness professionals. You can even register to vote at this event, which is critical with mid-term elections on the horizon next year.
One final note: The event is free to attend, but you can purchase custom Pride 2025-themed clothing here that helps raise money for the festival so that it can keep going and inspiring people year after year.
3. STRUT Dallas Tea Dance Pride Extravaganza
Address: 3912 Cedar Springs Rd, Dallas, TX 75219
Date: June 14
Time: 2 p.m.-9 p.m.
Fee: $25-$50
Held at the Round-Up Saloon, the STRUT Dallas Tea Dance Pride Extravaganza is entering its second year of bringing the local LGBTQ+ community together for a day full of music, dancing, joy, and camaraderie. This year, the event is set to honor drag artist Raja, who won the third season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and, years later, returned to compete on the seventh season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.” In fact, this event is just as much a birthday party for the legendary performer as it is a 2025 Pride celebration.
And what a birthday party it is—STRUT Dallas has gathered 14 performers in addition to Raja, four hosts, and several musicians to create a Pride experience unlike any other. The Tea Dance Pride Extravaganza promises to be an energetic day full of good music and better vibes, and there will be queer-owned businesses to check out as well. Plus, the organization will be hosting charity auctions for TX Latino Pride and Pride In Dallas, two organizations that serve the LGBTQ+ community in the area.
4. Arlington Pride 2025
Address: 100 W Abram St, Arlington, TX 76010
Date: June 14
Time: 5 p.m.-11 p.m.
Fee: Free
If you’re looking for a second event to hit up on Saturday, June 14, you’re in luck. Arlington Pride 2025 is slated for that evening at Levitt Pavilion in downtown Arlington, which is situated neatly between Dallas and Fort Worth. Arlington Pride 2025 hasn’t released many details about this year’s festivities yet at the time of writing, but we do know that a variety of performances and vendors should keep your evening full of excitement.
We also know—and appreciate—that this event has a tight security detail, helping to ease everyone’s minds as they enjoy themselves. Part of these security measures is the prohibition of outside drinks and food. That said, like an airport, you can use a water bottle that you’ve brought with you as long as it’s empty when you enter the event space.

5. Dallas Pride 2025
Address: 1300 Robert B Cullum Blvd, Dallas, TX 75210
Dates: June 14-15
Time: 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on June 14, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on June 15
Fee: $10 for June 14, Free for June 15
Dallas Pride 2025 is one of Texas’s biggest Pride events, spanning two days of fun at Fair Park. On Saturday, June 14, attendees can expect live music and drag performances to electrify the city, while Sunday, June 15, will be the annual Pride parade. The latter is free to attend and a great way to meet fellow members of the local LGBTQ+ community.
Dallas Pride 2025 is also known for its yearly themes, with this year being “Pride is My Right.” Pride has always been a resistance, and it would appear that the Dallas Pride 2025 organizers want this year’s celebration to be a sign to everyone everywhere that we will not be silenced. Moreover, vendor slots for the event are sold out at the time of writing, so be on the lookout for some queer and trans-owned businesses to support while using your voice to uplift yourself and your community.

6. Pride in Bloom
Address: 8525 Garland Rd, Dallas, TX 75218
Date: June 21
Time: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. & 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
Fee: $36
Pride in Bloom is an annual event hosted by the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, and it’s a beautiful initiative. Queer and trans folks have long used blooming flowers as an analogy for coming out, transitioning, and other events that help them come into their own, and the Dallas Arboretum seems to understand this well.
Pride in Bloom is split into two segments, with special events in the afternoon and the evening. The early-afternoon portion of the day will feature a live DJ, a live pianist, and vendors galore, and the evening will have more vendors and performances for you to scout out. Of course, the best part is that you’re celebrating Pride 2025 in potentially the most colorful way possible.
If you want to attend, be sure you add the Pride in Bloom ticket to your general admission ticket on the arboretum’s website. You should see a general admission ticket for $26 and the Pride in Bloom add-on for $10. Then, you’ll have access to a full day of fun among the most beautiful flowers you’ve ever seen. It might just inspire you to go wander through some of Dallas-Fort Worth’s stunning wildflowers.
7. Trinity Pride Fest
Address: South Main Village
Date: June 28
Time: 6 p.m.-10 p.m.
Fee: Free
The South Mani Village area of Fort Worth is set to come alive on June 28 thanks to Trinity Pride Fest, an annual celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and everything it brings to DFW. The event’s website promises that a good mix of tantalizing performances, sensational food, and eclectic vendors will bring the area to life like no other.
You’re also encouraged to come “exactly as you are”; there’s no singular way to be queer or trans, so don’t miss this fun event for the worry of not fitting in. The LGBTQ+ community is incredibly diverse, and you may just find your new best friends at this 2025 Pride celebration.
Ultimately, this event has it all: the electrifying energy of nightlife, mouthwatering bites you can’t get anywhere else (which will be helpful after a drink or two), and family-friendly interests for those coming with children. Note: Pets are permitted at this event as well, as long as they’re well-socialized.
8. Pride in Dallas’ Parade on Cedar Springs
Address: Cedar Springs Rd.
Date: Sep. 21
Time: 2 p.m.
Fee: Free
Pride in Dallas is a volunteer-run organization that has been serving its community for several years, and for the 2025 Pride season, it’s hosting the 4th Annual Parade on Cedar Springs with the theme “United By Love, Bound By Pride.” As the event’s name suggests, the parade is held on Cedar Springs Road in Dallas, and it sees folks flocking onto it in a parade that is as glorious as it is colorful.
Vendors will line the street on Sunday, Sep. 21, to connect with potential new customers, and raging music from beloved queer artists and allies keeps everyone’s energy up. You’ll see a variety of flags representing the various subsets in the LGBTQ+ community waving proudly as people pace the street, and you’ll feel a sense of belonging that can be hard to come by in Texas otherwise.
Ultimately, Pride in Dallas is an organization you should keep your eye on and support if you live in the area, and the 4th Annual Parade on Cedar Springs is an excellent way to celebrate 2025 Pride, even if it’s a few months after Pride Month. That gives you some recuperation time!

9. North Texas Pride “Come As You Are” Festival
Address: 902 E 16th St, Plano, TX 75074
Date: Oct. 11
Time: 12 p.m.-5 p.m.
Fee: $10-$25
The North Texas Pride “Come As You Are” Festival will take over the ArtCentre of Plano this October for an afternoon of fun for the full family. More specifically, attendees will be treated to live performances, live music, vendors, delectable food, and face painting, among other activities. Plus, there will be a dedicated kids’ zone for the young ones wanting to have their own form of fun.
Standard tickets are $10, while VIP tickets are $25. The latter comes with exclusive access to an indoor area that contains beverages and, perhaps more importantly, air conditioning. Having a place of respite throughout the day might be worth the extra moolah, if you ask us.
Worth noting is that there will be giveaways throughout the event, with your ticket money contributing to those and the North Texas Pride Foundation’s other missions. Just make sure you don’t miss the giveaways while cooling down!
