Mother challenges workplace bias against mothers and wins lawsuit

Tenaj Mays doesn’t want motherhood to be something to apologize for at work. So when a former boss expressed desire to terminate people who took maternity leave, she knew she had to do something.

Now, she and another North Texas woman are advocating for Black mothers in the meeting rooms and the maternity wings.
