Nathaniel Markowitz

Nathaniel has over ten years of experience in politics, advocacy, and fundraising. Committed to protecting our democracy, securing basic rights for every American–such as the right to healthcare, education, and for women to make their own reproductive rights–and expanding access to opportunity for everyone, Nathaniel has worked for a variety of political campaigns, nonprofit organizations, and other groups working to advance these goals. Nathaniel has become increasingly alarmed about the decline of local news over the years, the dramatic spike in the spread of mis- and disinformation, and the danger the rise of authoritarianism poses to our Democracy. That is why he is thrilled to join COURIER Texas as Managing Director.

Nathaniel has a master’s degree in publican and international affairs from the University of PIttsburgh, and happily resides in the Dallas metro area with his wife, son, and cat.
