State Sen. Sarah Eckhardt (D-Austin), the Democratic nominee for the Texas Comptroller’s office, slammed her Republican opponent, Don Huffines, during a Harris County Democratic Party block party on Saturday in Houston. Echkhardt shared why she’s running, and called out Huffines, a MAGA millionaire who purchased Jeffrey Epstein’s notorious New Mexico property in 2023, for using his money to try to buy political power.
