Could an AI data center be headed to Ft. Bend County? US Representative Christian D. Menefee told attendees at the Bullard Center for Environmental Justice gala on Saturday that rapid growth in AI data centers across Texas could soon reach Fort Bend. He pointed to reports of large engines being built in the area and raised concerns about the environmental and resource impacts these facilities can have on nearby communities.
