Sarah Eckhardt, the Democratic nominee for Texas Comptroller, made a stop in Dallas as early voting kicked off on Monday, Oct. 19, encouraging voters to cast their ballots for candidates who will act as watchdogs for the government, not lapdogs for the rich and powerful. Early voting runs through Oct. 30, and Election Day is Nov. 3.
