Something many Houstonians look forward to every year is the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. We’ve got more info on what to expect for this year’s show down below.

The rodeo won’t kick off until March 2, but we’ll be getting the official concert lineup this Thursday! Right now, all we’ve got is the genre lineup, so I want to know:

What’s your favorite music genre when it comes to the rodeo?

🗳 Houston City Council District C is up for grabs. With Abbie Kamin stepping down to run for Harris County attorney, a special election on April 4 will decide her replacement. Candidates can jump into the race until Feb. 2.

Calling all cowboys and cowgirls! It may seem a bit early to start thinking about March’s Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, but with the announcement of the 2026 concert lineup just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to start making plans.

This year, the world’s largest livestock show returns to NRG Stadium from March 2-22 and promises three weeks of nonstop entertainment, day and night.

The 2026 Houston Rodeo lineup of 20 artists will be announced Jan. 8, and tickets will go on sale Jan. 15. Some sell out immediately, so if there’s someone you’re dying to see, you’ll want to jump online the minute tickets go live.
