Five months without a voice: TX-23 voters are fed up, says Katy Padilla Stout

Democratic candidate Katy Padilla Stout (D‑San Antonio) says voters in Texas’ 23rd Congressional District, which she’s running to represent, are frustrated with what she calls a breakdown in basic leadership, including what she describes as Gov. Greg Abbott’s office not returning calls from constituents seeking help. Padilla Stout says those conversations are shaping what people tell her they want most: leaders who listen and show up.
