Houston City Controller Chris Hollins announced an investigation into the mayor’s senior adviser for financial integrity Chris Brown, citing serious allegations.
Records show Brown earned more than $127,000 a year while badging into City facilities only 13 times across nearly 600 workdays and sending just 12 emails this year.
Officials say the review will determine whether City policies were followed and whether public resources were used appropriately, with findings to be shared publicly.
