Texas Attorney General candidate Nathan Johnson wants to sue Dr. Oz

Democratic Texas Attorney General candidate Nathan Johnson is putting Dr. Oz on notice. Oz’s proposed Medicaid rule would pull roughly $515 billion from state programs—more than triple what Congress actually cut—and Texas has more riding on it than almost any state. Johnson says it’ll mean higher property taxes, higher insurance premiums, and closed hospital services in rural Texas. His pledge: sue Oz to stop it. His opponent, a MAGA Republican, won’t do that, he says.
