Fort Worth’s 8th annual Burger Week began Monday, and it’s about more than just scoring a great deal. Throughout the week, over 30 local restaurants are offering specialty burger deals, with proceeds going toward helping fund the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
Nearly 500,000 people face hunger in the area, and the Tarrant Area Food Bank, which is located at 2600 Cullen Street in Fort Worth, provides more than 47 million meals annually across the region.
