Where to celebrate the Fourth of July in DFW

Celebrate Independence Day with these firework shows and festivals across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

As they say, everything is bigger and better in the Lone Star State! This year is no exception, as Texas celebrates America’s 250th anniversary on July 4. 

Don’t miss these firework shows and events all around the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex starting on Friday! 

Friday, July 3rd

Lone Stars and Stripes Fireworks Festival 

Where: 1000 Lone Star Pkwy, Grand Prairie

Time: 3:00-10:00 p.m. 

General Admission: $10 

Parking: $20

Lone Star Park, known for its live sports, will have horse races starting at 4:45 p.m. There will also be live music on the Courtyard of Champions stage featuring party cover band the Vegas Stars. Kids can enjoy a petting zoo, pony rides, face painters, and games. After the last horse race, there will be a 20-minute firework show, choreographed to music.

Stars and Stripes 

Where: Southlake Town Square, 1400 E. Southlake Boulevard, Southlake

Time: 5:00-11:00 p.m.

Admission: Free

Stars and Stripes is held annually on July 3. There will be live music at the Rustin Pavilion Stage and Frank Edgar Cornish, IV Park Stage. Activities include jumbo yard games, inflatables, pickleball, and carnival games. Food and retail vendors will also be available.

Keller Lights

Where: Keller Town Hall, 1100 Bear Creek Pkwy, Keller

Time: 6-10 p.m.

Admission: Free

In honor of celebrating America’s 250th birthday, Keller Lights is set to  put on their most spectacular show yet. There will be a 20-minute firework show featuring drones, a performance from Emerald City band, and special giveaways. There will also be food and drink vendors.

July 3rd All American Fireworks and Festival

Where: Roanoke City Hall Plaza, 500 S. Oak St, Roanoke

Time: 5:00-10:00 p.m.

Admissions: Free

This event is family-friendly and will have activities including carnival rides, bounce houses, pie eating competitions, and face painting. There will be vendors and food trucks onsite. Live music and performances will start at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks will start at 9:15 p.m to conclude the event.

Saturday, July 4th 

Fort Worth’s Fourth 

Where: 395 Purcey St, Fort Worth

Time: 5:00-10:00 p.m.

Admission: Free

Fort Worth’s Fourth is known to bring thousands of people to celebrate Independence Day near the river bank. This year is no different, with even more activities for the whole family to enjoy. 

Attendees can expect live music, including two different bands. Children will be offered face painting, inflatables, waterslides, and zip lining. There will also be a designated swim area for everyone. 

Food vendors will be onsite with a variety of food options such as hamburgers, turkey legs, street tacos, crawfish, and more. There will also be beverage vendors and multiple bars throughout the festival grounds. The night will conclude with a firework show at 9:30 p.m.

Klyde Warren Park’s Independence Day Celebration

Where: Where: 2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway, Dallas

Time: 7:00-9:30 p.m.

Admission: Free

Parking: Metered parking 

This event is presented by Texas Capital, and the official Independence Day celebration of the City of Dallas. There will be a variety of vendors, live music, and family-friendly activities. The event will conclude with a firework show. 

4th of July America 250 Golden Jubilee Fireworks Show

Where: 110 Fairway Dr, Grapevine

Time: 9:30 p.m.

Admission: Free

This year’s firework show will be dedicated to the 50 years that Grapevine  Mayor William D. Tate has spent in office. The firework show will start at 9:30 p.m. and will last approximately 18 minutes. A  fireworks music sound track is available to listen to during the show.

All American 4th

Where: Collin College Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano

Time: 6:00-10:00 p.m. 

Admission: Free

All American 4th will be held at College College, where free parking is available. There will be food and drink vendors, and free water provided by H-E-B. There will also be family-friendly  games and a kid zone. The night will conclude with a firework show at 9:30 p.m. 

Red, White and Beach

Where: Little Elm Park, 701 W. Eldorado Parkway, Little Elm

Time: 9:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.

Admission: $5 for non-residents, 4 free tickets for residents

Parking: $30 general admission parking, $50 premium reserved parking

The Gone to Texas band will be performing at the Little Elm Park amphitheater starting at 5:00 p.m. There will be kid activities and bounce houses throughout the day, and food trucks and bars on-site. A firework show over Lake Lewisville will begin at 9:30 p.m.
