Dallas is widely regarded as a city with both an established and an up-and-coming culinary scene. In other words, our food options will always stand the test of time. But some of the best examples lie in our bakeries. While Dallas might not yet have the historical pastry culture of cities like Paris or New York, we are gaining recognition for some stand-out artisanal and creative bakeries.

Dallas offers a diverse range of bakeries, each excelling in different specialties. From classic French patisseries like Haute Sweets to niche bakeries such as Bisous Bisous Pâtisserie, which focuses on macarons and éclairs, our scene offers a variety of options for every sweet tooth in town. Also, bakeries like Emporium Pies serve handmade, seasonal pies, Starship Bagels serves up the best bagels in the USA right now, and Reverie Bakeshop caters to vegan and gluten-free desserts.

Our readers have also tossed in their two cents and decided on the top two bakeries in Dallas. While other bakeries received plenty of votes, these two rose far above the rest.
