ICE is the country’s best-funded law enforcement agency, yet Rep. Christian Menefee says its agents killed Lorenzo Salgado Araujo without body cameras, fired into a moving vehicle and operated behind masks. Menefee says Trump is cutting SNAP and veterans’ benefits while pouring money into an agency that won’t meet basic policing standards. His message: fund ICE like this, and Congress better investigate it.
