Senior citizen kicked out of Tarrant County meeting

Tarrant County Judge Tim O’Hare kicked a senior citizen out of a Tarrant County Commissioners Court meeting Tuesday, Sep. 1. The incident occurred the same day the Republican-dominated commissioners reduced the county’s polling locations by 30%, from 316 to 224, after a heated debate over voter access, with Democrats accusing officials of voter suppression. The resident, Karen Boyd, claimed O’Hare had ignored her phone calls and attempts to speak with him. O’Hare has faced community backlash in the past for removing others from county events.
