District J Council Member Edward Pollard is the latest to speak out on Mayor John Whitmire’s proposed 2027 budget. During Wednesday’s council meeting, Pollard pressed the mayor on the purpose of the proposed $5 monthly garbage fee and called for transparency ahead of the upcoming budget vote.
