Here are the dates to keep in mind:
October 5th: Get Registered

October 19th-30th: Early Voting
Want to avoid the lines on Election Day? Early voting in Texas runs from October 19 through October 30. Voting hours can vary by county, and many counties offer opportunities to vote on weekends.
October 23rd: Request Your Mail In Ballot
Voting by mail? Your application must be received by your county’s Early Voting Clerk by October 23. If you’re considering voting by mail, don’t wait until the deadline to get the process started.
November 3rd: Election Day
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mail ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day.
