Trinity Metro announced it will be offering free rides on all services throughout Tarrant County on Saturday, July 4 AKA Independence Day.
In a statement, Trinity Metro wrote, “As the United States marks a historic milestone, 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Trinity Metro is joining the celebration in a big way — Skip the parking hassle and ride free to holiday gatherings, festivals, and fireworks displays across Tarrant County.”
This deal is applied to trips within Tarrant County on:
- Trinity Metro
- Trinity Metro TEXRail to DFW Airport
- The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) commuter rail line that goes to CentrePoint
- Trinity Metro buses
- Vanpools
- Trinity Metro Bikes
- On-demand rideshare services
Please note that the Cowtown Visitor Shuttles are not included in this promotion and will still require a fee to use on July 4. Additionally, trips to Dallas County will require separate tickets to be purchased for standard fees.
The press release went on to note, “We encourage all customers to review the schedule details and plan ahead so you can focus on celebrating this landmark moment in history.” Below, we’ll go over all the scheduling changes you need to know.
